Arsenal very short of players for Fulham clash

Luckily for Arsenal they are going through a generous period of the fixture list and could probably afford to rotate a little bit, which is just as well as they have EIGHT players on the injury list ahead of this weekends fixture against Fulham.

Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky, Nicklas Bendtner, Theo Walcott, Nacho Monreal, Abou Diaby and Thomas Vermaelen are all extremely doubtful for the game as Wenger explained: “Monreal looks a doubt for Saturday, a big doubt, because he twisted his foot on the kick. It is not the bruise, he turned and twisted the ligament. Rosicky had surgery with a general anaesthetic for a broken nose in two places. With a mask he may be available, but we have to monitor it closely,”

Bendtner Still Due To Go?

After a very successful Euro 2012 campaign, everybody was expecting Arsenal’s second string striker Nicklas Bendtner to be on his way from the London side, especially given the fact that in the last season and a half he hasn’t been getting virtually any time on the pitch.

Linked with the likes of Juventus, Galatasaray and AC Milan, Bendtner was looking to be one of the first transfers Arsenal was going to make, but for some reason that didn’t happen.

Bendtner Confirms Desire to leave Arsenal

Arsenal’s outgoings might not end with Robin Van Persie’s departure to Manchester United and Alex Song’s transfer to Barcelona, as Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner still seems interested in the possibility of leaving the club, saying that it’s the only thing that would make him happy at the moment.

With enormous competition at Arsenal for the striker roles, it’s fair to say that Bendtner has very little chance of playing even a game next season for the Gunners If he doesn’t manage to catch a gravy train out of the Emirates Stadium in this final stretch of this transfer window, then he will be warming the bench again.
