Why I believe Kai Havertz could be a great asset to Arsenal

This is my honest assessment of the entire Kia Havertz situation.

Arsenal’s interest in the player is genuine, and there have been discussions between the manager and the player. However, a bid was rejected, and my sources indicate that it was more of a test than a serious offer.

Contrary to what some fans believe, Havertz is officially recognized as a midfielder, not a striker. That being said, he is a versatile player who can play in various positions, from midfield to the final third.

Havertz relies heavily on his technical abilities and intelligence on the field. He excels at holding up the ball, even with his back turned to the goal. He is particularly beneficial for strikers who need someone to provide them with opportunities.

When in form, Havertz has the ability to deceive the entire opposition by appearing to pass the ball, only to score himself. However, it remains to be seen if he can consistently deliver these qualities at Arsenal.

To a large extent, it will require trust and belief that Havertz can replicate his best performances. It must be noted that during his three seasons at Chelsea, since his arrival at Stamford Bridge in 2020 for a significant fee, he has struggled to meet expectations.

With just 32 goals in 139 appearances across all competitions, including a modest 19 goals in the Premier League, the 24-year-old has yet to justify his price tag. However, there is an old saying that “class is permanent,” implying that Havertz’s true potential may still emerge.
