Arsenal must not sell Balogun to another Premier League team

Folarin Balogun is one Gunner who will make headlines in the coming weeks.

Does he have what it takes to fight for a role in Arteta’s lineup? Can he settle for a limited role and be Gabriel Jesus’ deputy if he can’t? And if not, what’s next for him?

These are some of the questions running through Gooners’ minds as they watched the 21-year-old dazzle on loan at Stade de Reims, netting 21 league goals in 37 games. For those who analysed such questions and recently heard the striker’s admission he is not going to leave on a loan deal (probably hinting if Arsenal doesn’t want him, they should sell him), they no doubt believe he is going to leave.

Letting Balogun go and join another PL club could hurt Arsenal badly, as the former Gunner Aaron feels the Arsenal striker is Premier League-ready. Ramsey feels the US international is quality and could be a hit if he plays in the PL, as he told the Daily Star, “Balogun’s very good.

“We played against him a couple of times, and from what I saw there, he’s a very exciting player to have on your team.

“Arsenal have many great players, but he’s definitely got the quality.

“And yes, he’s good enough for the Premier League.”

Ramsey’s comments are a warning to Arteta and Arsenal decision-makers; hopefully, Balogun stays and is part of Arsenal’s dominance.
