Mikel Arteta’s work at the Emirates speaks for itself; his progress there has captured several suitors. PSG (who noted their interest this summer) and even Manchester City (if Pep Guardiola leaves) are two clubs that probably picture Arteta as their dream manager. However, if Arteta leaves Arsenal, he could move to Barcelona or Real Madrid.

“Spain is my country. I have been away for many years, and at some point it could be an option to return to the league and have other experiences. But [not] now,” said Arteta as per Marca.

However, for such a move to happen, it may be far in the future, as the Spaniard is currently focusing on transforming the Gunners into the real deal, as he added, “I can only say that I am happy at Arsenal. I feel loved, valued by our owners, Stan and Josh [the two Kroenkes], and I have a lot to do here at this club. I am happy and tremendously grateful to be at Arsenal.”

After failing to win last season’s PL title, Arteta admits something hurts him. He has made it his mission to weaponize his team with headline swoop after headline swoop. Kai Havertz has already been signed, and Declan Rice is expected to join even if City tries to impede the move.

Jurrien Timber and Romeo Lavia are also likely to follow these two through the transfer entry door.

After such a fantastic transfer window, Gooners wouldn’t be too ambitious to demand Arteta establish Arsenal as a dynasty and stay for as long as he wants.
