Arsenal already flew to the US for their pre-season tour.

Their first game in the US will be against the MLS All Stars on July 20th.

Ahead of them playing their game this summer in the US, Arteta has spoken to the media, and what he said is no doubt what all Gooners want to hear. The Spaniard admitted that his activity this summer is far from over and hinted that he is also keen to clean up his squad, a claim that hints at him unleashing one of the strongest Arsenal teams next season.

“Let’s see. There is a lot of time still in the market and expectations with some of our players, so we will have to see how things develop in the next couple of weeks,” Arteta told Sky Sports News.

“We will be alert. There is still time to do things.

“There is still time for exits, obviously, so I am sure things will move.”

It’s good to see the desire of the Arsenal decision-makers to make the club better. Of the extra deals, Arteta might add another great central midfielder (Romeo Lavia or Gabri Veiga) to complete the midfield overhaul, and there’s even discussion of buying a trustworthy deputy for Saka.

Partey, Tierney, and Balogun are all significantly related to departures. Exits that should provide Arteta and Eddu with some decent money to help them balance their books. There’s no doubt Arsenal aren’t messing around this summer.
