Arsenal Under Real Threat For RVP Signature

Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger should be expecting heat coming from Real Madrid and Manchester City in January for Dutch striker Robin Van Persie according to The Mirror.

The Dutchman proved himself to be the one who kept Arsenal alive this season and he is very close to breaking yet another record for the club becoming the best scorer in one year in the history of the English Premier League. Robin is only 4 goals away from breaking Shearer’s record of 36 goals, and still has 4 games at hand to do that.

Although former Arsenal glory Thierry Henry persuades Robin to enter the history books at Arsenal, the Dutchman hasn’t accepted the contract extension yet and Wenger can expect incoming offers for the 28-year-old.

Manchester City has expressed their interest to transfer Van Persie since Tevez is unwanted at the club anymore. Real Madrid just went through a horrifying loss against Barcelona in the weekend, so they will also be looking to improve their squad in the attempt to keep their 3 point advantage against Barcelona, so both of the clubs will be coming forward with offers and it’s just a matter of resisting to them or not.
