WOW! Can Arsenal REALLY beat Man Utd to STUNNING transfer

I will be amazed if Arsenal can pull this shock transfer off, but saying that I was pretty amazed when Arsene Wenger signed Alexis Sanchez last summer and even more so when we got Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid the previous year. So maybe the Metro report claiming that the Gunners could beat our Premier League rivals to the transfer of Sergio Ramos should not be dismissed out of hand.

There have been lots of reports linking the Spanish international defender with United and it appears that Ramos is ready to call time on his long career in La Liga and come to England. And it also looks like M;adrid and United are locked in battle over him and David De Gea, with neither willing to budge.

Could Arsenal get Khedira cheap after Bayern back off?

It could be back on, Arsenal fans, after our longed for transfer hopes of bringing Sami Khedira to join his World Cup winning team mates Lukas Podolski, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker received a big boost from the Spanish media today.

Apparently Khedira’s wage demands were the first stumbling block, with the 27-year old Germany international asking for around £150,000 a week, which would make him the best paid player at the club. Then when it was being reported that Khedira had lowered his demands a bit in order to force the move through, we got the bad news that Bayern Munich wanted him and were strong favourites.

Arsenal’s Di Maria transfer hopes get major boost from Madrid

One of the main reasons for Arsenal having any hope whatsoever of signing the Argentina international Angel Di Maria, who scored the only goal of the game against Switzerland last night to book his country’s place in the World Cup quarter-finals, is that the 26-year old winger does not feel he gets the credit and playing time he deserves at Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants have repeatedly spoke about how much they want him to stay, but it all sounds a bit forced and there is more transfer news from Spain today, reported by The Express, that makes Di Maria’s exit from the Champions League holders even more likely.

Napoli have to wait as Higuain hopes Arsenal will win transfer battle

There was bad news for Arsenal fans in the last couple of days, as the English, Spanish and Italian media all seemed to have decided the future of Gonzalo Higuain. The problem is, that Higuain himself has got a say in the matter and for now he is training normally with his Real Madrid team mates.

If, as the papers claim, Real Madrid and Napoli had reached an agreement over his transfer, and the Argentinean striker was happy with the move to Italy and Serie A, he would not be training today, he would be on a plane to Naples to have his medical.

Arsenal running out of big name strikers to sign – Hurry up Wenger!!

According to some media reports, Spanish giants Real Madrid are on the brink of a spectacular £25 million plus Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain bid for the Liverpool striker and Arsenal target Luis Suarez. In others, Madrid are about to sell Higuain to Napoli and use the money to buy Suarez outright.

The two above-mentioned strikers are the only two realistic options left in the Gunners’ pursuit of a world class striker this summer, with Stefan Jovetic, Alvaro Negredo, Mario Gomez and David Villa all completing moves to various clubs.

Napoli swoop for Higuain as Arsenal dither

After weeks and weeks of speculation surrounding a supposed deal that will take Real Madrid want away Gonzalo Higuain from the Spanish Capital to Arsenal, it all seems to have settled in the dust in recent days, with rumours quickly spreading about various reasons why a deal hasn’t been pulled off.

Some reports state that Madrid and Arsenal are haggling over a fee, because apparently Real Madrid have upped their asking price to £30m, which I personally don’t think Arsenal will pay, if true. Whilst others state that Higuain himself is stalling the deal, just in case any other possibilities come up, in which case I think it’s time to leave the Higuain situation because it clearly indicates that the player isn’t over keen on joining Arsenal.
